a new golden age

Have you made plans for this year’s 9/11 protest?

My plan is to be completely non-functional, except as an agent of progressive change, for one week, beginning on Monday, September 11, 2017. I urge you to consider doing the same, even if only for the day of 9/11. Do not go to work that day, do not go shopping. Get out in the street and protest.

Everything could change in one day, if people were not so goddamned chickenshit, addicted to money and comfort.

When the crime of 9/11 is officially recognized for what it was – a crime of the American deep state against the American people – a cheap, highly destructive ruse, whose purpose was to justify another century of war and human degradation – a process will be set into motion. We will have no choice then but to examine our relationship to the military-industrial complex, our relationship to terrorism and slavery around the world, and to consider the possibility that if we were to devote the same amount of material wealth and human energy to solving the problems of equity and sustainability that we devote to the violent destabilization of the Middle East we would be preparing ourselves to embark on a new golden age.

  1. Thanks for the post. Encouraging to see Ketcham taking a stand, and hearing him use the word atonement.
